Client AVOIDS FULL TIME JAIL – Charged with selling cocaine on 49 separate occasions

Police intercepted communication between our client and other individuals. The conversations related to the selling of illicit substances.

An Analysis of the intercepted material revealed that our client had taken part in the supply of cocaine on over 49 separate occasions.

Police were granted and executed a search warrant over our client’s residential home. Inside the house police located resealable plastic bags with smiley faces on it.

Police Arrested our client and he was refused police bail. Our client was charged with the following:

Supply prohibited drug under Section 25(1) of the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985 (NSW)

The maximum penalty for this offence is 15 years imprisonment and/or a fine of $220,000.

Our client was anxious about facing the prospect of being jail full time.

Fortunately, he contacted Oxford Lawyers and he retained Principal Solicitor and Accredited Criminal Law Specialist Mr Zemarai Khatiz. Mr Khatiz appeared at Parramatta District Court and made strong submissions to the Judge to not impose a full time custodial sentence upon our client.

Ultimately, the Judge ruled in favour of our client and he received an Intensive Corrections Order (ICO).

Our client was relieved with the result and extremely grateful for the dedicated work of Mr Khatiz and the Oxford Lawyers Team.

If you want to reach the best resolution, you’ll want Oxford Lawyers on the job.  For immediate assistance, please contact Mr Zemarai Khatiz and the Oxford Lawyers team.
