NO conviction recorded for client charged with Drug Driving!

Our clients were the owner and manager of a transport company and they had a dispute with their employees which resulted in a fight between our clients and the employees.
During the fight sticks were introduced and both parties have used them.
Witnesses then called the police.
As a result of the fight, all parties suffered significant injuries and were conveyed to the hospital.
Our clients were charged with Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm under Section 59(2) and Common Assault under Section 61 of the of the Crimes Act 1900.
The Maximum penalty for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm is 5 years imprisonment and the maximum penalty for Common Assault is 2 years imprisonment and a fine of $2200.
