Police observed our client driving a vehicle, the vehicle was observed to go onto the roadway and drive before making another U-turn and stopping when two men entered the rear of the vehicle.

After a short period of time, the two men then exited the vehicle.

Police followed the two men and interacted with them and seized multiple clear resealable bags of cocaine. the two men stated they purchased the product from the people within the vehicle they entered.

Later on, police approached our client and seized his mobile phone which showed correspondence indicative of a drug supply taking place.

Police searched our client and found three separate large sums of money.

Police arrested and charged our client with the following:

Deal with property proceeds of crime under Section 193c(2) of the Crimes Act 1900.The maximum penalty for this offence is 3 years imprisonment or 2 years imprisonment with a fine of $5500.
Supply prohibited drug under Section 25(1) of the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985.The maximum penalty for this offence is 15 years imprisonment and a fine of $220000.
