NO conviction recorded for client charged with Drug Driving!

Our client was previously charged with:
Custody of a knife in public place or school under Section 11C of the Summary Offences Act 1988.
The maximum penalty for this offence is imprisonment for 2 years or a fine of $2200.
The Court imposed an Intensive Corrections Order (ICO) for one year.
An ICO is a Court ordered sentence which is served in the community but places the offender under the strict supervision of Community Corrections.
A condition of the ICO was for our client to complete 75 hours of Community Service.
Our client did not abide by this condition as he had only completed 5 of the 75 hours of Community Service.
As a result of breaching his ICO, our client’s ICO was revoked. Our client was reprimanded and put into jail.
Our client was anxious about completing the remainder of his sentence in jail.
Fortunately he contacted Oxford Lawyers and retained Principal Solicitor and Accredited Criminal Law Specialist Mr Zemarai Khatiz.
Mr Khatiz appeared in front of the State Parole Authority for the Parole Board Hearing and made strong submissions to the Parole Board to reinstate our clients ICO.
The Parole Board was persuaded and reinstated our clients ICO with a reduced Community Service Order of 50 hours!
